The water cycle, read as evidence

Follow the water. Protect its pathways.

Riverflow follows water through Switzerland—from mountain precipitation, ice and groundwater to rivers, wetlands, storage, use and return. It is an open, collaborative project to protect the whole water cycle and build the evidence needed for live public scrutiny and legal action. This release is a rigorous surface-water foundation, not the finished cycle. Every figure names its source, date and evidence class.

How the evidence works Contribute expertise or data
Mountain precipitation becomes ice, groundwater, springs, rivers and wetlands. Water is stored, used, returned and evaporated.

Still missing as mapped evidence: precipitation, snow cover, soil moisture, groundwater recharge and evaporation. See coverage.

Measured and modelled water. Not a forecast.
